Over the past 3 years many developments have occurred at Hogar Nazareth in the area of Faith Ministry to help make the goals of Interior Healing reached. Opening a position of “Ministry Coordinator” staffed by long time dedicated local volunteer Leydi Velasquez, the commitment of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, a new men’s missionary group dedicated to serving the children “Misioneros Franciscanos de Hogar Nazareth”, and a family of faithful lay persons.

The psychology department's main goal is to support our children as they work through the difficult emotions that come in the midst of the various difficult situations that they have lived through. A second and complementary goal is in educating our children so that they have a high emotional IQ which we see as vital to their healing process.
