Your support makes this life-changing work possible and that is what we call Divine Providence. You can have peace of mind knowing that over 90% of your donation goes directly toward helping those in need. Less than 10% of funds received are used for administration or fundraising, which is best-in-class.
Our Mission
Provide a safe, faith-filled and loving home for abandoned, neglected or abused children and adults with disabilities. To provide integral formation and interior healing and prepare the children for young adulthood or where possible, to reunify them with family.
35 years of Divine Providence
On July 25, 1988, in the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, the young Carmen Licet was in religious formation. That day a woman came, requesting protection for two orphaned girls: María Elena (8 years old) and Alba Luz (10 years old); her mother before she died, asked her to find a safe and stable home for her daughters.
Interior Healing
The psychology department's main goal is to support our children as they work through the difficult emotions that come in the midst of the various difficult situations that they have lived through. A second and complementary goal is in educating our children so that they have a high emotional IQ which we see as vital to their healing process.
